‘Tis The Season {I Love Fall}

The weather is starting to get cooler here in north Florida, believe it or not!  The mornings have been just to die for!  Low 70’s, beautiful skies, construction tractors across the street roaring at 7:00am, calm breeze!  It’s been awesome!
As soon as September 1st rolled around, I started thinking about Fall and how I wanted to decorate.  I’m really excited for Halloween this year because it’ll be Emily’s first!  It was supposed to be her first last year, but she decided she wanted to delay her debut by about a week and a half.  So she missed Halloween last year.
Anyway, back to Fall!
I wanted to do some simple things around the house to start making it feel more “Fall-ish”.  So I made some pumpkin specimen art {and even included some of my fav…..BURLAP!!}!

Cute, right?
It was so simple!  I just popped the glass out of my $3 Target frame, used some spray adhesive to stick my burlap to the back of the frame, found some coordinating Fall papers in my stash, then used my Silhouette to cut out some pumpkin shapes, and hot glued them to the burlap.  And that was it!  Easy enough, right?

And cheap too!
Frame – $3
Burlap – Already had on hand
Paper for pumpkins – Already had on hand
Total:  $3 smackaroos!!
I still haven’t decided exactly where I want to put it so it’s just hanging out on the counter in our office nook for now.  I’m going to pull out all of my Fall stuff this weekend and decorate so hopefully it’ll find a home then!
I am working on a few more Fall/Halloween projects and can’t wait to share with you guys!  I’ll be back this afternoon to share a little pumpkin ditty I whipped up yesterday!
What are you doing to get ready for Fall and Halloween?
Have a happy Friday!
P.S. I am installing a new comment system.  I will be messing with it off and on.  Please let me know if you have any issues leaving a comment.

  4. I'm in north Florida, too, although I guess a little further south than you because it hasn't been QUITE that lovely, but it's still been great! I whipped out my fall decorations, too. :) I love your project and think I might copycat it since I have all of the supplies on hand. Thanks for the wonderful idea! :)

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment. I read each and every one of them and work hard to respond to all of them that I can.
